LIGHT AND SHADOW

Light projects sharp figures when it strikes a solid structure. The shape of the shadow demonstrates the contours, or the object itself. These {visualtreatments are often employed in design to create a sense of space. A well-placed bar can alter the direction and intensity of a shadow, creating subtlety, to the overall composition.
